Step by Step Guide to Recover WordPress Password from Cpanel
Step 1 : The most important part for recover your password from Cpanel is you have access on your Cpanel. You must have to logged-in in your Cpanel first. If you forget your CPanel login. You must have to contact with hosting provider with service buying email address. They will send a reset link to your mail address. So our first step is login in your Cpanel.
Step 2 : In second step , you need your database name. In which database your specific web site is running you have to figure it out. Multiple WordPress site can run in a single hosting. Database for different WordPress site is also different. So enter on file manager from public_html. Find correct web directory. Open wp-config.php file as shown in image.
Step 3 : Now you know database name in which your WordPress site is running. For us it is “therevie_wp245”. All WordPress user and other WordPress data are importing here. Our next step is opening “PhpMyAdmin” section from our Cpanel home. Follow image below. Or this can be accessible to this path.
=>> Cpanel > Database Area > PhpMyAdmin
Step 4 : Step four is selecting specific user from the database name shown below. Flow chart can be => PhpMyAdmin > “Database (therevie_wp245) ” > wpth_user > click on edit .
Step 5 : In user pass row you have to select “MD5”. This is most important part. Than in value field write your new password and press go button from below. You will get the success message then.
